Camp and Outdoor Program

Aims

  • To provide all children with the opportunity to participate in a sequential camping program
  • To provide shared class experiences and develop a sense of group connectedness.
  • To reinforce and extend classroom learning.
  • To provide a program that delivers skills and knowledge that may lead to a lifelong involvement in worthwhile leisure pursuits.
  • To provide a program that promotes self-esteem and leadership skills, resourcefulness, independence, cooperation and tolerance.
  • To provide opportunities that cannot be provided for in the ‘normal’ school or home environment.
  • Prep Breakfast in Pyjamas at School.
  • Year 1 & 2 Dinner and activities at School (7pm pick up).
  • Year 3 & 4 1 night, 2 day Camp on site.
  • Year 5 & 6 2 nights, 3 day Camp off site (Year A: City or Year B Country camp).
